Stay young at heart
Stay young at heart

Some morning walks hubby and I venture on, we meet our dear German Dad Hans Schmalhofer who is 80 years of age and an inspiration on following the wisdom of his Soul.  Only a few months ago Hans was camping and now he shares with us that he wants to buy a Rav 4 so he can fit his gears into the car for his travels to and fro.  My reminder on my calender has just popped up 'My Soul is awaiting to guide me' I feel a great sense of fulfilment at the timing of the reminder and the theme of today's blog.  A smile and a feeling of fullness.

What dreams are on hold for you?  What has been life's quiet tugs at you, yet the pause button is continuously being hit?  Only yesterday at the hospital for my Dad's orthopaedic appointment a lady walks past with a bag that says 'Each day is a brand new day'.  Another smile and feeling of fullness.

We must choose to follow the wisdom of our Souls - because it fills us up.  Everything you love to be, do and have will fill you up.  Iyanla Vanzant shares we must fill our cups, meaning we must honour ourselves first and foremost by living our lives and following our dreams.   The rest will follow.

Your Soul is awaiting to guide you.  Listen.  It's wisdom will assist you to stay young at heart.
