"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, and confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow" quoted by Melody Beattie.
How true has this been for many? The profound wisdom of Gratitude is a simple and humbling process, yet in the hustle and bustle of life we forget to give a simple 'Thank you' for all that we have and all that we are.
Gratitude humbles us and brings us to our knees - especially when it is unexpected. It is a powerful and beautiful process indeed and shifts our being into love regardless of what we are challenged by or what the whirlwinds of life throw at us. Gratitude embraces the blessings as well as the challenges in our lives. Gratitudes magic has a special power that transcends even our most inner fears and blocks opening the gateways of the heart, flooding us with love.
Writing a daily list of things you are grateful for can move mountains. Simply asking the following question can help shift our state of mind, heart and being to a higher frequency and vibration.
What am I grateful for today?
Answering this question allows us to be always in a space of presence, mindfulness and gratitude. It helps bring forth a greater day and for us to rise to our natural state of love and gratitude and most importantly creation. Everything has been provided for us, nothing is missing - everything is as it is, in it's Divine Perfection. The gift of gratitude creates a shift vibrationally to one of poise, presence and balance. The opening of the heart can bring tears of gratitude and you will feel an outpour of love emanating through your whole body.
In Barbara De Angeli's 'Soul Shifts' Barbara describes us as a 'walking vortex of vibrational energy'. Barbara shares of our vibrational resonance, vibrational inheritance and vibrational lineage all contribute to who we are today and we all have the power to shift this. Barbara writes 'The best way to serve the world is to raise the quality of your vibration' and Gratitude's wisdom can help you to shift your vibration.
Even a visit to the cemetery can make the greatest challenge minuscule, bringing a sense of deep humility, respect and love for all who lay peacefully at rest.
Every step with Gratitude is key to recalibrating and Albert Einsteins quote sums this up beautifully 'There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle'.
